I recently came across some interesting news, at least for me as a long-time fan of BioWare games. That they are holding a 3D modeling competition, the goal of which is to create a new character that will fit as perfectly as possible into the Mass Effect or Dragon Age universes.
And I wondered if this was due to the fact that a lot of talented people have left BioWare lately, and the release of sequels to the above games. And they kind of hint to us, help us, otherwise we’ll do something weird again and make another clay mixer simulator. Or they just want to show us that they are ready to listen to us and accept our ideas.
In any case, I think this is a very right move towards correction; apparently they themselves are tired of releasing games, after which even the most devoted fans wondered whether it was worth buying the next game. And maybe we will even see these characters in new games, and the winner may work in the company.
On the CGHUB website.com there is a 3D modeling competition, which anyone can take part in.
The goal is to create a character that fits as perfectly as possible into the Mass Effect or Dragon Age universes.
He or she can be either a member of races that already exist in these universes or completely new races.
The character can be a https://libra-spins.uk/ party member fighting alongside the heroes, or an enemy, a mechanic, a monster, a shopkeeper, a civilian, a priest, and so on… Crossovers are also welcome, you can take a DA character and turn him into an ME character or vice versa.
At the same time, you should not copy existing characters, only original works are accepted, the most or completely completed ones are especially welcome. The jury will also be interested in what inspired you to create this character.
The competition begins on November 1st, the deadline for entries is midnight on January 31st. Prizes will be distributed as follows:
1st place:
Limited edition N7 watch (1 of 500)
BioWare memorabilia package (includes signed art books/games/lithographs)
