- Teaching Departments
There are twelve departments in Mohnyin Degree College.Myanmarsar Department, English Department, Geography Department, History Department, Philosophy Department and Oriental Studies Department are Arts Departments and Chemistry Department, Physics Department, Mathematics Department, Zoology Department, Botany Department and Geology Departments are Science Departments.
Although the college has twelve departments at present, in the future these twelve departments are going to be converted into Faculties when the college is upgraded into a university.

The college has six administrative departments: Administration; Finance; Academic Affairs; Sports; International Cooperation; and Distance Education.
